About the Pepperl+Fuchs R100 Series Photoelectric Sensors
The R100 series packs a full range of photoelectric sensing principles into one miniature housing, so a machine can use the same mounting and wiring for every detection task. Background-suppression sensors (OBT) detect objects at a set distance regardless of colour; diffuse sensors (OBD) switch on light reflected from the object; retro-reflective sensors (OBR) work with a reflector; and thru-beam pairs (OBE) give the longest range.
Every R100 sensor has IO-Link for parameter setting and diagnostics, and push-pull outputs that work with PNP or NPN inputs. Versions ending in -L use a laser-class red light spot for small objects, and -V31 versions have an M8 connector.
