About the Murrelektronik MIRO Interface Relays
Interface relays sit between the PLC and the field: output relays let a 24 V PLC output switch 230 V loads, and input relays let 230 V signals reach 24 V PLC inputs safely. Murrelektronik's MIRO range does this in a 6.2 mm wide housing, so dozens of relays fit on a short length of DIN rail.
The MIRO 6.2 has one changeover contact rated 6 A at 250 V; the MIRO 12.4 has two. Coil versions cover 24 V DC, 24 V AC/DC, 110 V and 230 V, with LED indication and built-in coil protection. Pluggable versions let a failed relay be swapped without rewiring, and versions with a manual toggle switch help during commissioning. The RMM family offers the classic plug-in relay design.

Input relay or output relay — what is the difference?
Output relays are driven by the PLC and switch field loads. Input relays take field signals (often 230 V) and pass them to 24 V PLC inputs. The coil and contact ratings are chosen accordingly.
Can a MIRO relay switch a motor?
It can switch a contactor coil, which then switches the motor. Do not switch motors directly with a 6 A interface relay.
