About the Siemens LOGO! 8 Logic Module

LOGO! is the Siemens logic module for jobs that are too big for timers and relays but too small for a full PLC: pump and fan control, lighting, gates, dosing and simple machines. A base module has eight inputs and four relay or transistor outputs, a built-in web server and Ethernet, and it can be expanded with digital and analog modules on the DIN rail.

The current LOGO! 8 generation (order codes ending 0BA2) runs LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.4 and adds MQTT for cloud connections. Versions with a display can be programmed on the front panel; the "o" versions without a display are programmed from a PC and are popular in panels where operators should not change settings.

We supply LOGO! base modules, expansions and the matching LOGO!Power supplies, and we can program and commission LOGO! applications for your plant.

What is the difference between LOGO! 0BA1 and 0BA2?

0BA2 is the current LOGO! 8.4 generation and replaces 0BA1. It uses LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.4 and adds MQTT. Older programs still run on 0BA2 base modules.

Do I need a display version?

Choose a display version if operators should see or adjust values on the module. Choose the "o" version (no display) when the program must not be changed in the panel; it is programmed from a PC.
