In food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical plants, equipment is washed down every shift with water and aggressive cleaning chemicals. Plastic or painted steel isolators crack, corrode and collect dirt. KATKO's IsoSafe KER isolators use stainless steel enclosures in AISI 304 or 316L, built to withstand moisture, chemicals and cleaning, and easy to keep hygienic.
The range runs from small 16 A units for single motors up to 630 A for main incomers. As with every KATKO isolator, the code gives poles and current — KER 363 RA4 is 3-pole, 63 A, enclosure RA4 — and the handle locks off for safe maintenance.
