Laser markers print permanent codes without ink or ribbons, so running costs are close to zero and there are no consumables to run out. The right laser depends on the material: fiber lasers mark metals and many plastics, CO2 lasers mark paper, cartons, wood, glass, PET bottles and coated materials, and UV lasers give fine, cold marks on sensitive plastics, films and electronics.
DOCOD's L2000 fiber series runs from 20 W to 100 W, the L1000 CO2 series comes in 30 W and 60 W (air or water cooled), and the L1000 UV series offers 3 W and 5 W. All use a 2D galvanometer scanning head with a red-light preview for positioning, a 10-inch touch controller, encoder input for moving lines and a standard marking field of 110 × 110 mm (optional 50–300 mm).
We supply and install laser markers on your line with suitable fume extraction and safety guarding, and test-mark your samples before you order.
